After a TENS treatment, you may feel tempted to leave the electrodes in a bin and not think about them. However, doing this will lead your electrodes to dry out. The adhesive can also become damaged. Keep the following principles in mind when storing your electrodes:

 

You can cool your electrodes off in the refrigerator briefly after use. But you shouldn't store them in extreme temperatures indefinitely.

Store electrodes in their liners or wrap them in wax paper to keep them from drying out.

Keep electrodes in cool, dark areas out of direct sunlight.

 

Don't wash electrodes with soap to avoid removing the adhesive.

Use a small amount of water to remove debris.
