We designed an electrode pad specifically for OMRON's low-frequency knee arthritis pain treatment device, enabling fully automated production of this complex product.

What challenges did we encounter?
 

OMRON has initially planned an electrical pad specifically designed for low-frequency treatment of knee osteoarthritis pain. However, many TENS pads manufacturers in the industry are still at the manual production stage when it comes to complex products, making it challenging to mass-produce high-quality finished products in a short period of time. Additionally, the material and structural design must ensure ease of use while also being aesthetically pleasing, and traditional screen printing techniques struggle to achieve the desired results.

 

Therefore, Top-Rank needs to complete the entire product planning process-from material selection and specification customization to shape design-within a short timeframe and quickly initiate mass production to bring the concept to reality.

High-Standard Mass Production

Top-Rank utilizes fully automated synchronous button riveting technology and cutting equipment to achieve fully automated production of complex products, making it one of the few electrode pads factory in China to meet this standard.

Durable

By incorporating Japanese hydrogel, the TENS unit pads can be washed up to10 times and used as many as150 times, meeting the usage requirements of OMRON TENS devices.

Special Shape Design

Top-Rank has designed the electrode pads in bone and oval shapes, making them suitable for various muscles and joints after exercise.

Innovative Process

Structurally, PET material and a double-sided non-adhesive design were chosen for easy removal by users. Aesthetically, traditional screen printing has been replaced with flexographic printing, using black as the base color that smoothly transitions to blue on both sides, balancing practicality and visual appeal.
