These EKG tabs are non-invasive, disposable planar diagnostic interfaces engineered for high-throughput 12-lead resting electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG) procedures. Designed for instant clip-on coupling with standard 4mm alligator or crocodile clamps, this tab architecture eliminates the need for metallic snap studs or trailing pigtail wires. The multi-layer matrix integrates a high-modulus PET carrier film, a low-resistance printed conductive trace, and an electrolyte-saturated solid gel. The automated fabrication of EKG tabs passes a 75-micron Mylar PET web through high-speed rotary screen-printing and slot-die hydrogel lamination stations. The sensor trace utilizes a dual-layer carbon-silver ink matrix deposited at a 15-micron thickness. This hybrid chemistry bridges the impedance gap between the metallic clip and the skin, preventing local current bottlenecks under mechanical pressure. The skin-contact layer uses a high-cohesion, low-water-loss solid hydrogel formulated with potassium chloride (KCl) to quickly penetrate epidermal oils without dissolving into a liquid film. Completed tab arrays are die-cut with non-conductive pull-tabs and packaged on release cards (50 tabs per sheet) inside sealed AL/PE foil pouches. Standard B2B contracts start at 500,000 units.

  In high-resolution diagnostic EKG, low-cost pure carbon tabs generate capacitive polarization that distorts ST-segment elevations and masks micro-volt T-wave inversions. Our dual-layer carbon-silver matrix minimizes half-cell potential drift, holding the DC offset under 3.0 mV. This ultra-flat baseline allows diagnostic EKG software to record uncorrupted P-Q-R-S-T wave structures without artificial filtering or trace smoothing.

   

• High-Rigidity PET Tail (Clamping Resistance & Anti-Fracture) 

  Spring-loaded alligator clips exert intense mechanical point-pressure on the flat tab extension. If the carrier film is too thin or the conductive ink lacks elastomeric binders, the clip teeth will crush the trace, cutting off signal transmission during emergency triage. We utilize a 75-micron high-modulus Mylar PET backing paired with a flexible binder system. The tail withstands up to 6.0N of clip clamping force without silver layer micro-fracturing or resistance spiking.

• Fast-Wet-Out Solid Hydrogel (Zero-Residue Triage Turnover) 

  Emergency room triage demands instant EKG acquisition without waiting minutes for skin hydration. Our solid hydrogel is formulated with high-mobility KCl electrolytes that establish stable electrical contact within 2 seconds of skin application. Furthermore, the gel maintains a high storage modulus (G'), ensuring that when the clinician peels the tab off post-test, the polymer matrix releases cleanly without leaving sticky residue on the patient's chest.

• Customized Sheet Formatting & Branding : We offer configurable sheet layouts (10 to 100 tabs per release carrier) with integrated non-conductive pull-tabs. The PET card backing supports multi-color flexographic printing for custom distributor logos and anatomical lead placement guides.
