Usage Instructions
To properly use a grounding pad during electrocautery surgery, place the neutral electrodes on clean, dry, healthy, well-vascularized skin, ideally over a large muscle mass and as close to the operative site as possible, ensuring the entire pad makes firm, uniform contact.
Avoid bony prominences, adipose tissue, scar tissue, metal implants, and hairy surfaces. Also, ensure there are no gaps or folds in the pad, no pressure points, and no objects (like snaps) between the pad and skin.
