How to Use the Top-Rank Surgical Incision Closure Set
1.Clean and Dry
Clean the area around the incision, ensuring there is no exudate, blood, lipid, or other contaminants on the skin surrounding the incision. Wait for the antimicrobial solution to dry completely for optimal adhesion.
2. Peel Off Release Paper #1
Remove Release Paper #1 (marked with a blue number) to expose the adhesive on one end of the device.
3. Align and Apply
Align the second adjustment rod with one end of the incision. Adhere the Surgical Incision Closure Set to the skin, ensuring the incision is as centered as possible between the two strips of tape.
4. Peel Off Release Paper #2
Remove Release Paper #2 (marked with an orange number), while simultaneously pressing down on the device to adhere it firmly to the skin.
5. Close
Rotate the adjustment rod clockwise to completely close the incision, being careful not to overtighten during the first turn to allow for accurate adjustment.
6. Cover with Gauze and Medical Dressing
Place a strip of gauze over the incision to absorb exudate, and then cover it with a dressing.
